Commit to utilizing YERSIN Insurance services:

Step 1: Present a valid insurance card, along with an ID card or passport. For children, please bring their birth certificate as well.

Step 2: Yersin staff will explain the direct billing process to the customer: "The direct billing process is only carried out after the customer completes the service and receives a final diagnosis from the doctor. If the insurance does not cover certain expenses, the customer will be responsible for paying the clinic directly."

Step 3: Consult with a doctor for examination and treatment.

Step 4: Follow instructions to undergo paraclinical services.

Step 5: Have a follow-up consultation with the doctor to discuss the test results, receive a prescription, and obtain a diagnosis.

Step 6: YERSIN's Insurance Department will coordinate with the insurance company to confirm the treatment and diagnosis based on the doctor's assessment and test results. Once confirmation is received from the insurance company, the customer will sign to acknowledge the treatment and diagnosis costs (Confirmation process takes approximately 15 to 30 minutes).

Step 7: Customers are responsible for paying any costs that the insurance company refuses to cover.

Step 8: Complete the necessary examination documents, and the customer should sign and clearly state their full name on all relevant clinic documents.

Note:

  • Paraclinical services may be recommended by the doctor to identify the underlying cause of the disease for treatment. However, there may be services that exceed the coverage provided by insurance. In such cases, customers will be responsible for paying the additional costs incurred.

  • Yersin will not issue direct guarantees in situations where customers forget to bring their insurance card, ID card/passport/birth certificate, or if their insurance card has expired.

  • In cases where a waiting period applies to the insurance card, Yersin may require customers to make a deposit to cover the costs.
