Hypertension, diabetes, and dyslipidemia are prevalent conditions in Vietnam, affecting individuals of all ages and backgrounds. The incidence of these illnesses is on the rise among young people, primarily due to unhealthy habits and lifestyles.
These diseases often progress silently, remaining asymptomatic for extended periods and fostering a sense of complacency among individuals. Unhealthy behaviors like smoking, consuming a high-fat diet, and leading a sedentary life are common contributors to cardiovascular problems, with diabetes, dyslipidemia, and hypertension being significant risk factors.
Irrespective of age, undergoing regular screenings for cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and dyslipidemia is crucial for early detection. Establishing a comprehensive management plan helps in minimizing the potential risks and complications associated with these conditions.
